Guru Guru no Mi (Spin)

Devil Fruit, Uncommon

Type. Body Enhancer Paramecia

Fruit appearance. A white pear-shaped fruit with a yellow propeller-shaped stem.

Description. Allows the user to create propellers around their body, giving them the ability of flight and spinning abilities.

Sea Weakness. You are weak to water and seastone.

Propeller Immunity. You are immune to nonmagical slashing damage, as your body spins like a propeller in the direction of the slash to abosrb the slash.

Propeller Strike. As a bonus action, you can cause your next melee attack against a creature to deal an extra 1d8 slashing damage on a hit, as propeller blades emerge from your attacks until the start of your next turn. If you hit with your propeller, you can move yourself 5 feet in any direction with your propellers without provoking opportunity attacks.

Propeller Form. As an action, you can choose to enter a propeller form, or back into your regular form. In your propeller form, your walking speed becomes 5 feet and your flying speed is 50 feet, as you begin to fly like a propeller plane.

Spells (Spin Techniques). This devil fruit power has 5 charges. You can expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it without needing to expend material components: Feather Fall (1 charge), Gust of Wind (2 charges), Dizzying Spin (Hypnotic Pattern; 3 charges). The devil fruit regains expended charges daily at dawn.

Awakening (Spinning Vortex). Once you’ve awakened your power, you can use an action to transform the surrounding area within a 120-foot radius centered on a point you can see within 300 feet, into a spinning vortex for 1 minute or until you fall unconscious. Enemies within the zone have their speed halved and must make a Dexterity saving throw against your Devil Fruit save DC at the start of each turn. On a failed save, the creature takes 2d6 slashing damage, and is pulled in a straight line toward the center of the sphere, ending in an unoccupied space as close to the center as possible, falling if midair. You and your allies gain a flying speed equal to their movement speed while within the vortex and can move freely within it. You can’t use this action again for another 24 hours.
