Hira Hira no Mi (Flag)

Devil Fruit, Uncommon

Type. Body Enhancer Paramecia

Fruit appearance. A white Pomegranate fruit with orange swirls, looking a bit on the thin side but still quite edible

Description. Allows the user to make their body and any object they touch become flat and flexible, letting solid objects ripple, billow, and flutter like a piece of cloth or a flag.

Sea Weakness. You are weak to water and seastone.

Flag Human. You can use your action and 1 devil fruit charge to make your body become flat and flexible like a flag for 1 minute. While in this form, you can move through spaces as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing, you take no fall damage (as if using feather fall on yourself for the duration), and you have advantage on Dexterity (Acrobatics) checks and Dexterity Saving Throws. You can revert to your normal form as a bonus action.

Fluttering Object. As an action, you can touch an object no larger than Large and make it become flat and flexible like a flag for up to 1 minute. The object retains its original size and weight, but it can flutter and ripple in the wind. You can manipulate the object as if it were a piece of cloth, allowing it to wrap around objects, unfurl, or billow in the wind. The object takes no damage from fall damage, and is easily pushed by any strong wind or gusts. You can only affect one object at a time, and using this ability on a new object ends the effect on the previous object.

Fluttering Attack. As a bonus action, you can target a melee weapon you are holding. For 1 minute or until you target a new weapon, the weapon’s reach increases to 15 feet, as it becomes fabric-like and flexible. Alternaitvely, you can target your unarmed strikes instead, allowing your reach with them to be extend up to 15 feet.

Spells (Flag Techniques). This devil fruit power has 5 charges. You can expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it without needing to expend material components: Earth Ripple (as Earth Tremor; 1 charge, and can cast at higher levels by spending additional charges), Wind Ripple (as Gust of Wind; 2 charges), Levitate (Self or Object only; 2 charges), Flutter Dance (as Kinetic Jaunt; 2 charges), or Rippling Release (as Conjure Barrage; 3 charges). The devil fruit regains expended charges daily at dawn.

Awakening (Billowing Tempest). Once you’ve awakened your power, you can use an action to cast the Investituture of Wind spell with a 1 minute duration, no spell slots or material components required, on you and up to four other creatures within 30 feet of you. Additionally, you and the other target creatures also gain the benefits of your Flag Human form for the duration. You can’t use this action again for another 24 hours.
