Kiku Kiku no Mi (Hearing)
Devil Fruit, Uncommon
Type. Body Enhancer Paramecia
Fruit appearance. A white apple with peach coloured swirls going along it, the stem growing In a Volume symbol to represent sound.
Description. Grants the user the ability to manipulate their hearing and the volume of sounds around them, making them a Hearing Human.
Sea Weakness. You are weak to water and seastone.
Hearing Aids. You are immune to being deafened, and gain resistance to thunder damage.
Enhanced Hearing. You gain proficiency in the Perception skill, and you have advantage on Perception checks that rely on hearing.
Tuning In. You gain blindsight up to a range of 40 feet. As an action, you can amplify any sound you can hear within 120 feet. You can make a whisper audible to everyone in the area, cause a normal conversation to become deafening, or make a loud noise even louder. You can also focus your hearing to listen to a specific conversation or sound within range, even if it’s behind a closed door or wall.
Spells (Hearing Techniques). This devil fruit power has 5 charges. You can expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it without needing to expend material components: Dissonant Whispers (1 charge, and can cast at higher levels by spending additional charges), Silence (2 charges), or Shatter (2 charges). The devil fruit regains expended charges daily at dawn.
Awakening (Sonic Resonance). Once you’ve awakened your power, you can use an action to create an intense sonic resonance in a 30-foot radius centered on you. Each creature in the area must make a Constitution saving throw against your Devil Fruit save DC. On a failed save, the creature takes 7d10 thunder damage, is deafened for 1 minute, and is knocked prone. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn’t deafened or knocked prone. After using this ability, you can’t use it again for another 24 hours.
