Snapu Snapu no Mi (Snapping)
Devil Fruit, Uncommon
Type. Body Enhancer Paramecia
Fruit appearance. A black pear-shaped fruit with a white crack down the middle. On both sides of the crack, the swirls seem to be going in opposite directions.
Description. Grants the user the ability to create powerful elemental attacks by snapping their fingers, making them a Snapping Human. The user can unleash bursts of fire, bolts of electricity, or gusts of wind with a simple snap.
Sea Weakness. You are weak to water and seastone.
Deadly Snapping. You learn the fire bolt, gust, and lightning lure cantrips, no material components required.
Elemental Snap. As an action, you can spend 1 devil fruit charge to snap your fingers and choose one of the following elemental effects: Fire Snap, Electric Snap, or Wind Snap. Each elemental snap has a range of 60 feet and targets a creature or point you can see within range:
-
Fire Snap: The target must make a Dexterity saving throw against your Devil Fruit save DC. On a failed save, the target takes 2d6 fire damage and catches on fire. At the start of each of its turns, a creature on fire takes 1d6 fire damage. A creature can use its action to put out the flames, ending the effect.
-
Electric Snap: The target must make a Dexterity saving throw against your Devil Fruit save DC. On a failed save, the target takes 2d6 lightning damage and is paralyzed until the end of its next turn. On a successful save, the target takes half as much damage and isn’t paralyzed.
-
Wind Snap: The target must make a Strength saving throw against your Devil Fruit save DC. On a failed save, the target takes 2d6 bludgeoning damage and is pushed 15 feet away from you. On a successful save, the target takes half as much damage and isn’t pushed.
Spells (Snap Techniques). This devil fruit power has 5 charges. You can expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it without needing to expend material components: Chaos Bolt (1 charge, and can cast at higher levels by spending additional charges), Gust of Wind (2 charges), Fireball (3 charges), or Lightning Bolt (3 charges). The devil fruit regains expended charges daily at dawn.
Awakening (Final Snap). Once you’ve awakened your power, you can use an action to unleash a massive elemental explosion in a 60-foot cone originating from you. Each creature in the cone must make a Dexterity saving throw against your Devil Fruit save DC. On a failed save, the creature takes 5d6 fire damage, 5d6 lightning damage, and is pushed to the end of the cone and knocked prone. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn’t pushed or knocked prone. After using this ability, you can’t use it again for another 24 hours.
