Toge Toge no Mi (Spikes)
Devil Fruit, Uncommon
Type. Body Enhancer Paramecia
Fruit appearance. A rough-textured, spiky green kiwi with protruding thorns.
Description. Allows the user to grow and retract spikes from any part of their body, turning them into a living weapon. The spikes can be used both defensively and offensively.
Sea Weakness. You are weak to water and seastone.
Spike Immunity. You are immune to nonmagical piercing damage, as your body has adapted to the nature of spikes and sharp objects.
Impaling Strike. As a bonus action, you can cause your next melee attack against a creature to deal an extra 1d8 piercing damage on a hit, as long spikes emerge from your attacks until the start of your next turn. If you grapple a creature, you can choose to impale them on your spikes, dealing 1d6 piercing damage at the start of each of your turns while the grapple lasts.
Spells (Spike Techniques). This devil fruit power has 5 charges. You can expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it without needing to expend material components: Armor of Agathys (deals piercing damage; 1 charge, and can cast at higher levels by spending additional charges), Spike Growth (2 charges). The devil fruit regains expended charges daily at dawn.
Awakening (Thorny Dominion). Once you’ve awakened your power, you can use an action to envelop yourself and the surrounding terrain in a 120-foot radius centered on you with menacing, fortified spikes. For 1 minute or until you fall unconscious, any creature, not including you or your allies, that moves within or enters this area takes 3d6 piercing damage every 5 feet it travels. Additionally, your skin hardens with a protective layer of spikes, granting you resistance to nonmagical bludgeoning and slashing damage and causing melee attackers to take damage equal to half of what they deal to you. You can’t use this action again for another 24 hours.
