Fruit appearance. A gray, colorless pineapple-like fruit, however all the points and leaves are unnaturally dull to touch.

Description. Grants the user the power to drain the color and sharpness from their surroundings, making everything appear dull and lifeless.

Sea Weakness. You are weak to water and seastone.

Dulling Aura. As a dulling being, you can emanate an aura of dullness that affects a 5-foot radius around you. You can activate or deactivate this aura as a bonus action. While the aura is active, all colors within the area become dull and muted, and creatures looking through or into the area have disadvantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight. Additionally, any sharp or bladed traps, objects, or weapon receive a 1d4 reduction to damage rolls against you or other creatures within your Dulling Aura.

Dulling Glare. As an action, you can glare at an object or creature within 30 feet of you and drain its color. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a Constitution saving throw against your Devil Fruit save DC or become dull. Objects affected by this ability lose any vibrant or distinct colors they may have had. Creatures affected by this ability have disadvantage on Charisma-based skill checks and saving throws, as their appearance becomes less appealing. Additionally, the creature has disadvantage on any weapon attacks which deal slashing or piercing for the duration, as its sharp and pointy weapons lose their potency. The effect lasts for 1 minute, and a creature can make a Constitution saving throw against your Devil Fruit save DC at the end of each of its turns to end the effect on itself.

Spells (Dulling Techniques). This devil fruit power has 5 charges. You can expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it without needing to expend material components: Dulling Spray (as Color spray, but removes color; 1 charge, and can cast at higher levels by spending additional charges), Blur (2 charges), or Dispel Magic (3 charges). The devil fruit regains expended charges daily at dawn.

Awakening (World of Dullness). Once you’ve awakened your power, you can use an action to create a 60-foot radius sphere of dullness centered on you. The area within the sphere becomes dull and colorless, and creatures of your choice within the area are affected by your Dulling Aura. Additionally, each creature of your choice in the area is immune to the frightened or charmed condition.

Enemy creatures within the area must succeed on a Constitution saving throw at the start of each turn or become dull until the start of their next turn. While dull, any piercing or slashing damage a creature deals becomes 0 for the duration. The area lasts for 1 minute or until you fall unconscious. After using this ability, you can’t use it again for another 24 hours.
