Juku Juku no Mi (Maturing)

Devil Fruit, Uncommon

Type. Environment Alterer Paramecia

Fruit appearance. A red, wrinkled fruit that resembles a dried prune with age spots on its surface.

Description. Grants the user the ability to rapidly age objects, turning new items old and decrepit, or cause plants to mature and bear fruit. The user can also increase the ages of living creatures.

Sea Weakness. You are weak to water and seastone.

Age Manipulation. As an action, you can touch a non-magical object or surface, or a creautre within 5 feet of you, to attempt to magically age it. If you touch an unwilling creature, it must make a Constitution saving throw against your Devil Fruit save DC. On a failure or if the creature is willing, you age it by one year at the start of each of its turns for 1d10 rounds. If a creature progresses in age to such an extent that it becomes a new age category (from child to adult, adult to elderly, etc.), the DM may adjust the target’s stats to match it’s new age. If the target is an object, it may fall apart or wither based on its increase in age (cumulative 10% chance it will crumble for each turn it ages).

You can only affect up to a 5-foot square worth of nonmagical material at a time using this feature. If the material or material is equal to the durability of stone or greater, you must spend 1 devil fruit charge to age it this way. You can spend 2 charges as an action to instantly age a creature or 5-foot square of material this way, which guarantees it will age up to 10 years if it is a creature and that it will crumble if it is a non-magical object.

Spells (Maturing Techniques). This devil fruit power has 5 charges. You can expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it without needing to expend material components: Entangle (as you cause plants and materials to grow rapidly; 1 charge), Spike Growth (as you cause the ground to age and become rough; 2 charges), or Plant Growth (3 charges). The devil fruit regains expended charges daily at dawn.

Awakening (Extreme Aging). Once you’ve awakened your power, you can use an action to concentrate all aging power from the surrounding area into one creature and cast Time Ravage on it, no spell slots or material components required. You can’t use this action again for another 24 hours.
