Nui Nui no Mi (Sewing)

Devil Fruit, Uncommon

Type. Environment Alterer Paramecia

Fruit appearance. A green melon-shaped fruit with many white lines intersecting each other.

Description. Allows the user to stitch things together without the need for a needle, as well as control and manipulate threads with precision.

Sea Weakness. You are weak to water and seastone.

High Class Sewing. You learn the Mending cantrip, no material components required. Additionally when using this cantrip, you can attach multiple objects together, no longer limiting yourself to only fixing broken ones.

Unstich Restraints. If you are restrained or grappled by any means, you can use an action to end the condition on yourself, no check required.

Stitching Mastery. As an action, you can touch a creautre or object to stitch it to another object or surface using your sewing threads. If used on a creature, it must succeed on a Strength saving throw against your Devil Fruit save DC or be restrained while attached to a nearby object or surface for 1 minute. If another creature is within 5 feet of the target, that creature must also save or become restrained and attached to the original target, up to a maximum of 2 total targets. A creature restrained by the threads can use its action to make a Strength check against your Devil Fruit save DC to break free. If it succeeds, it is no longer restrained. As a bonus action on subsequent turns, you can tug on the thread of one creature you have restrained this way, dealing 1d6 slashing damage to the creature.

Spells (Sewing Techniques). This devil fruit power has 5 charges. You can expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it without needing to expend material components: Wound Stitching (Cure Wounds; 1 charge, and can cast at higher levels by spending additional charges), Web (2 charges), Binding Stitch (as Hold Person; 2 charges, and can cast at higher levels by spending additional charges). The devil fruit regains expended charges daily at dawn.

Awakening (Tailor’s Domain). Once you’ve awakened your power, you can use an action to weave the very fabric of reality within a 120-foot radius centered on you for 1 minute or until you fall unconscious. The area in the zone becomes difficult terrain for enemies. Each creature of your choice that starts its turn in this zone or that enters the zone during its turn must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 2d6 piercing damage and is restrained by threads as long as it remains in the zone or until it breaks free. A creature restrained by the threads can use its action to make a Strength check against your spell save DC. If it succeeds, it is no longer restrained. Additionally, you can use your Stitching Mastery on any point within this zone without the need for direct line of sight. You can’t use this action again for another 24 hours.
