Chizu Chizu no Mi (Cheese)

Devil Fruit, Uncommon

Type. Substance Generator Paramecia

Fruit appearance. A large, round yellow fruit with numerous holes and a crumbly texture, resembling a wheel of cheese.

Description. Grants the user the power to produce and control cheese. This cheese can be molded into various shapes and structures, from barriers to weapons, and even used to trap foes.

Sea Weakness. You are weak to water and seastone.

Cheese Creation. As a cheese being, you are able to produce and control cheese in various ways. Any cheese produced with this devil fruit is thick and viscous enough to not be considered water to devil fruit users, but creatures fully submerged in cheese will suffocate and drown normally as if they are underwater. You are immune to suffocating in your own cheese.

You can spend 1 devil fruit charge to cast create or destroy water as a 1st-level spell slot, without expending a spell slot or material components. Instead of producing or destroying water with this spell, you produce or destroy edible cheese that is much thicker than water in the same amount and volume. This cheese counts as food when consumed, but spoils after 24 hours. You may spend additional devil fruit charges to increase the level of this spell by 1 for every charge expended as a part of casting the spell. Additionally, you learn and can use the Shape Water cantrip on this cheese.

Additionally, you can spend a bonus action to harden the mochi into a solid block of mochi which can expand up to a 10-by-10 ft cube, but counts as the same amount of food. A creature in the cheese’s space when it expands is pushed out safely to the nearest space.

Spells (Cheesy Techniques). This devil fruit power has 5 charges. You can expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it without needing to expend material components: Cheese Armor (as False Life; 1 charge, and can cast at higher levels by spending additional charges), web (replace webbing with sticky cheese; 2 charges), tidal wave (liquid cheese instead of water; 3 charges). The devil fruit regains expended charges daily at dawn.

Awakening (Cheese Kingdom). Once awakened, you can transform the terrain within a 60-foot radius centered on you into a cheesy landscape. You and allies can use the Passwell spell for free as a bonus action on any cheesy surface in the area, effectively opening up a hole in it for the duration, or closing it as a free action. An enemy in this area must make a Dexterity saving throw at the start of its turn, or fall 20 feet into a hole which opens out of the cheese beneath it. This effect lasts for 1 minute, at which point the terrain returns to normal. After you use this action, you can’t use it again for 24 hours.
