Haku Haku no Mi (Vomit)
Devil Fruit, Uncommon
Type. Substance Generator Paramecia
Fruit appearance. A beige fruit with green swirls, it’s form is soft and slightly malleable before eating, which is definitely unappealing.
Description. Grants the user the ability to regurgitate dangerous and destructive substances from their mouth, making them a Vomit Human.
Sea Weakness. You are weak to water and seastone.
Acidic Spit. Thanks to your new abilities, you learn the Acid Splash cantrip to “Hurl” at your enemies. Additionally, you are immune to acid damage.
Vomit Stream. As an action, you can spend 1 devil fruit charge to shoot a stream of vomit from your mouth at a target creature within 30 feet. The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw against your Devil Fruit save DC or take 2d8 acid damage. Unless the target avoids taking any of this damage, any nonmagical metal armor worn by the target takes a permanent -1 penalty to the AC it offers, and any nonmagical metal weapon it is carrying or wearing takes a permanent -1 penalty to damage rolls. The penalty worsens each time a target is subjected to this effect. If the penalty on an object drops to -5, the object is destroyed.
Spells (Vomit Techniques). This devil fruit power has 5 charges. You can expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it without needing to expend material components: Caustic Vomit (as Tasha’s Caustic Brew; 1 charge, and can cast at higher levels by spending additional charges), Vomit Arrow (as Acid Arrow; 2 charges), or Explosive Vomit (as Fireball; 3 charges). The devil fruit regains expended charges daily at dawn.
Awakening (Vomit Torrent). Once you’ve awakened your power, you can use an action to create a massive torrent of vomit in a 30-foot radius aura centered on you, which lasts for 1 minute or until you fall unconscious. When you activate this awakening, you can designate any number of creatures you can see to be unaffected by it. An affected creature’s speed is halved in the area, and when the creature enters the area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, it must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 7d8 acid damage and is subjected to your Vomit Stream’s armor and weapon penalties. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn’t subjected to your Vomit Stream’s effects. After using this ability, you can’t use it again for another 24 hours.
