Ropu Ropu no Mi (Rope)

Devil Fruit, Uncommon

Type. Substance Generator Paramecia

Fruit appearance. A beige banana-shaped fruit with grooves spiraling it.

Description. Grants the user the ability to produce and manipulate ropes, including shaping them into various forms, hardening them into durable structures, or using them to bind and restrain targets.

Sea Weakness. You are weak to water and seastone.

Rope Creation. You learn the Thorn Whip Cantrip, which deals bludgeoning damage. As an action, you can produce ropes from your body, which can be used for various purposes. You can produce up to 500 feet in total using this ability. You can destroy up to 100 feet of rope you’ve created as a bonus action.

Climber’s Blessing. The rope you produce serves as a Climber’s Kit, which you are proficient with. Additionally, you can launch a rope to grab a hold of a ledge or protruding object, granting you a climbing speed equal to your walking speed when scaling rough or rocky vertical surfaces. Additionally, slippery surfaces do not hinder you when climbing.

Luring Lasso. As an action, you can make a melee Devil Fruit spell attack with your ropes against a creature within 30 feet of you (if you have produced at least 30 feet of rope or more). On a hit, the target takes 1d6 bludgeoning damage, and becomes grappled and restrained (Escape DC equal to your Devil Fruit save DC). You can use a bonus action to pull a lasso’d creature up to 20 feet straight toward you.

Spells (Rope Techniques). This devil fruit power has 5 charges. You can expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it without needing to expend material components: Snare (1 charges), or Rope Trick (2 charges). The devil fruit regains expended charges daily at dawn.

Awakening (Rope Domain). Once you’ve awakened your power, you can use an action to transform the area within a 60-foot radius centered on you into a rope domain. The ground, walls, and objects within this area become covered in ropes that you can manipulate as if using your Rope Creation feature. Creatures within the area must make a Dexterity saving throw against your Devil Fruit save DC or be restrained by the ropes. Once per turn, you can spend an action to make up to five Luring Lasso attacks targeting any creature in the area, and then pull up to 5 retrained creatures 20 feet toward you as a part of the same action. The effect lasts for 1 minute or until you fall unconscious. You can’t use this action again for another 24 hours.
