Fruit appearance. A blue melon-shaped fruit covered in fish scales, topped with a hook-shaped stem.

Description. Grants the user the ability to generate fishing poles, nets, and other fishing tools. The user can also manipulate the movements of aquatic creatures and detect them with ease.

Sea Weakness. You are weak to water and seastone.

Fisherman’s Tools. You learn the thorn whip cantrip, which appears as a fishing pole. As an action, you can create fishing poles, nets, or other fishing tools, such as a Fishing Tackle kit. You can create up to three sets of these tools using this feature, and they remain until you dismiss them as a bonus action. You have advantage on checks made when fishing or using fishing tools.

Aqua Sense. You gain a supernatural sense of the presence of aquatic creatures. You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) and Wisdom (Survival) checks to locate or track aquatic creatures. You can sense any aquatic creatures that are within 300 feet of you. Additionally, you can communicate telepathically with any aquatic creature within 60 feet of you that isn’t a Sea King.

Surfacing Bind. As an action, you can spend 1 devil Fruit charge and target one aquatic creature you can sense within 300 feet of you and force it to make a Wisdom saving throw against your Devil Fruit save DC. On a failed save, the creature must spend its movement during its turn moving up toward that surface.

Spells (Fishing Techniques). This devil fruit power has 5 charges. You can expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it without needing to expend material components: Animal Friendship (aquatic beasts only; 1 charge), Locate Animals or Plants (aquatic beasts only; 2 charges), or Conjure Animals (aquatic beasts only; 3 charges). The devil fruit regains expended charges daily at dawn.

Awakening (Ocean’s Call). Once you’ve awakened your power, you can use an action to command the creatures of the sea to come to your aid, forcing every aquatic beast within 300 feet of you to make a Wisdom saving throw or become affected by the Dominate Beast spell for 1 minute. This works even if you can’t see the aquatic beast.
