Choki Choki no Mi (Scissors)
Devil Fruit, Rare
Type. Body Enhancer Paramecia
Fruit appearance. A bright orange pineapple with an extra sharp rind and spiraling patterns across its surface.
Description. This fruit allows the user to transform any part of their body into scissors, which can be used to cut and manipulate objects and space as if they were paper. The user is also able to fold and transform objects or terrain that have been snipped.
Sea Weakness. You are weak to water and seastone.
Scissor Hands. Your hands can transform into scissors, granting you the ability to cut through nonmagical materials effortlessly. Your unarmed strikes deal an additional 1d6 slashing damage. You deal double damage to structures and objects with your unarmed strikes.
Material Cut. As an action, you can make an unarmed strike against any object or structure within range. If the attack hits and the object isn’t made of seastone, you can carve or remove up to a 5-foot square of space out of the material. The removed material is then moved out into an empty space within 5 feet of you.
Spells (Cutting Techniques). This devil fruit power has 9 charges. You can expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it without needing to expend material components: Snipping Hands (as Burning Hands, but dealing slashing damage instead; 1 charge, and can cast at higher levels by spending additional charges), Meld into Stone (3 charges), Stone Shape (4 charges), Wall of Stone (5 charges), or Passwall (5 cahrges). The devil fruit regains expended charges daily at dawn.
Awakening (Spirit Thread Snip). Once you’ve awakened your power, you can use an action to perform a cutting technique that can sever even the threads of another creature’s fighting spirit. Choose one creature you can see within 30 feet. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw against your Devil Fruit save DC. On a failed save, the creature’s ties to one feature or ability, such as spellcasting or a special attack, are severed, rendering it unable to use that ability until it completes a long rest. On a successful save, the creature takes 6d6 force damage. You can’t use this action again for another 24 hours.
