Netsu Netsu no Mi (Heat)

Devil Fruit, Rare

Type. Body Enhancer Paramecia

Fruit appearance. A deep-red fruit resembling a chili pepper with small flame-like patterns scattered over its skin.

Description. This devil fruit grants its user the ability to generate intense heat from their body, allowing them to raise the temperature of objects they touch or emit scorching waves of heat around them.

Sea Weakness. You are weak to water and seastone.

Burning Touch. You learn the Shocking Grasp cantrip, but deal fire damage with it instead of lightning. Additionally, you are immune to fire damage.

Heat Emission. As an action, you can spend 1 devil fruit charge to emit a wave of heat in a 15-foot radius around you. Creatures in this area must make a Constitution saving throw against your Devil Fruit save DC. On a failed save, creatures take 3d6 fire damage, and half as much on a success. The heat ignites any flammable objects in the area that aren’t being worn or carried.

Heat Armor. As a bonus action, for up to 1 hour or until you fall unconscious, you can raise the temperature of your body to such an extent that any creature making a melee attack against you and hits within 5 feet takes 1d6 fire damage. A creature which touches you or starts its turn in contact with you also takes 1d6 fire damage. You can end this effect early as a bonus action.

Spells (Heat Techniques). This devil fruit power has 9 charges. You can expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it without needing to expend material components: Searing Smite (1 charge, and can cast at higher levels by spending additional charges), Heat Metal (2 charges), Flame Blade (2 charges), Fire Shield (warm shield only; 4 charges), Immolation (5 charges). The devil fruit regains expended charges daily at dawn.

Awakening (Inferno Emanation). Once you’ve awakened your power, you can use an action to cast Fire Storm, without expending a spell slot or material components. You can’t use this action again for another 24 hours.
