Fruit appearance. A silvery fruit, resembling a chain wrapped in a tight ball with small links and padlock motifs imprinted on its surface.

Description. This devil fruit bestows upon its user the ability to generate and manipulate iron shackles and cages. With a mere gesture or touch, the user can bind or imprison their foes, making escape incredibly difficult.

Sea Weakness. You are weak to water and seastone.

Chain Whip. You learn the thorn whip cantrip, no material components required. It deals bludgeoning damage instead of piercing, and appears as steel chains.

Shackling Touch. As an action, you can touch a creature within 5 feet. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw against your Devil Fruit save DC. On a failed save, the creature is bound by iron shackles, becoming restrained until it can break free. A creature can use its action to make a Strength check against your Devil Fruit save DC, breaking free on a success.

Cage Conjuring. As an action, you can spend 1 devil fruit charge to conjure a cage around one creature you can see within 30 feet. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw against your Devil Fruit save DC. On a failed save, the creature is trapped inside the cage, which has an AC of 20 and 30 hit points. The bars are spaced far too narrowly for creatures or weapons to fit through, giving it full cover. The cage lasts for up to 1 minute, after which it disappears.

Spells (Cage Techniques). This devil fruit power has 9 charges. You can expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it without needing to expend material components: Entangle (1 charge), Hold Person (2 charges, and can cast at higher levels by spending additional charges), Web (reskinned as chains instead of webs; not flammable; 2 charges), Dimension Cage (Banishment; 4 charges), Wall of Force (5 charges). The devil fruit regains expended charges daily at dawn.

Awakening (Prison Realm). Once you’ve awakened your power, you can use an action to manifest a large prison complex in a 30-foot radius sphere centered on a point you can see within 60 feet. Within this area, iron walls and cages transforming the terrain into a labyrinthine jail. Creatures in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw against your Devil Fruit save DC. On a failed save, they are trapped within individual cages, becoming restrained. A creature can break free by making a Strength check against your Devil Fruit save DC. If a creature is freed, it must also spend an action to make a DC 20 Intelligence check to find the exit within the labyrinth prison, at which point it appears 5 feet outside of the prison complex in an area it chooses. The prison lasts for 10 minutes or until you fall unconscious, after which it disappears. Once used, you can’t use this action again for another 24 hours.
