Pero Pero no Mi (Candy Creation)
Devil Fruit, Rare
Type. Substance Generator Paramecia
Fruit appearance. A colorful striped spherical fruit with a very long stem on the bottom of it.
Description. Grants the user the ability to create and manipulate candy at will. This candy can be used in various ways, from construction to combat, and has unique properties that allow it to be both hard as steel or soft and sticky.
Sea Weakness. You are weak to water and seastone.
Candy Creation. You can create objects, weapons, or structures made of candy. These objects have a hardness and weight similar to steel but can be shaped and colored as you desire. As an action, you can create a candy object of a size up to a 5-foot cube. The object lasts for 1 hour or until you dismiss it.
Sweet Combat. Weapons you create from candy have the same properties as their normal counterparts but are considered magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance. You are proficient with any candy weapon you create.
Candy Petrification. As an action, you can spend 5 devil fruit charges to attempt to petrify a creature within 30 feet of you, turning them into candy. The target must make a Constitution saving throw against your Devil Fruit save DC. On a failed save, the creature is affected by the Flesh to Stone spell and has one failure. On a success, the creature isn’t affected.
Spells (Candy Techniques). This devil fruit power has 9 charges. You can expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it without needing to expend material components: Candy Slug (Tenser’s Floating Disk; 1 charge), Candy Armor (Mage Armor; 1 charge), Candy Net (Web; 2 charges), Candy Arrows (Cordon of Arrows; 2 charges), Candy Tentacles (Evard’s Black Tentacles; 4 charges), or Wall of Candy (Wall of Stone; 5 charges). The devil fruit regains expended charges daily at dawn.
Awakening (Candy Gallery). Once you’ve awakened your power, you can use an action to cover everyone within 60 feet of you with an extremely sticky and hardening candy. Each creature of your choice in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the target is restrained. It must then make a Constitution saving throw at the end of each of its turns. If it successfully saves three times, the spell ends. If it fails its save three times, it permanently turns to stone and is subjected to the petrified condition. The successes and failures don’t need to be consecutive; keep track of both until the target collects three of a kind. You can’t use this feature again for another 24 hours.
