Shiku Shiku No Mi (Sickness)
Devil Fruit, Rare
Type. Substance Generator Paramecia
Fruit appearance. The Shiku Shiku no Mi is a sickly green, bulbous fruit with purple pulsating veins.
Description. The Shiku Shiku No Mi allows its user to induce and control various diseases, making the user a “Disease Human.” The wielder can cause mild to severe illnesses in targets, but also has the unique ability to draw upon the strength of the diseases they control.
Sea Weakness. You are weak to water and seastone.
Disease Immunity. You are immune to all diseases, both mundane and magical.
Infectious Touch. As an action, you can touch a creature, forcing them to make a Constitution saving throw against you Devil Fruit save DC. On a failed save, the target contracts a disease of your choice (it must save against your Devil Fruit DC for each disease):
- Cackle Fever. See “sample diseases” in standard 5e DMG.
- Sewer Plague. See “sample diseases” in standard 5e DMG.
- Sight Rot. See “sample diseases” in standard 5e DMG.
- Hormone Reversal. A creature’s sex is swapped after 1d4 hours. A creature can attempt to recover from this condition by repeating the Constitution save after it finishes a long rest. Once it recovers from this disease, it becomes immune to it.
Pandemic Wave. As an action, you can spend 3 devil fruit charges to unleash a wave of disease in a 30-foot radius. Every creature within the radius must make a Constitution saving throw or contract a disease of your choice (see Infectious Touch).
Spells (Pathogenic Techniques). This devil fruit power has 9 charges. You can expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it without needing to expend material components: Ray of Sickness (1 charge, and can cast at higher levels by spending additional charges), Sudden Fever (Phantasmal Force; 2 charges), Extreme Fever (Phantasmal Killer; 4 charges), Blight (4 charges), Contagion (5 charges). The devil fruit regains expended charges daily at dawn.
Awakening (Pestilence Wave). Once you’ve awakened your power, you can use an action to cast Contagion, without expending a spell slot or material components, on each creature of your choice within 30 feet of you. You can’t use this action again for another 24 hours.
