Numa Numa no Mi (Swamp)

Devil Fruit, Very Rare

Type. Liquid Logia

Fruit appearance. A light brown pear with drooping s-shaped swirl patterns, which smells of sulfur.

Description. Allows its user to create, control, and transform into mud and other liquid “swamp” elements at will.

Sea Weakness. You are weak to water and seastone.

Logia Immunity. You are immune to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing from nonmagical attacks, as physical objects pass through your swamp body. Additionally, you can move across Difficult Terrain created by mud or swamps without spending extra Movement, and you do not suffocate inside of your swamp waters.

Elemental Form. You can use the “Logia Elemental Form” feature listed under “Designing a Logia Devil Fruit Sheet”.

Swampy Storage. You learn the Mold Earth Cantrip. Additionally, you can store additional equipment inside your swamp body, multiplying your carrying capacity by 10.

Swamp Trap. As an action, you can transform a 5-foot diameter section of dirt or rock you can see within 30 feet of you into a swampy sinkhole, which is 20 feet deep. This sinking ground remains this way for 10 minutes or until you return it back to normal as a bonus action. This area is considered difficult terrain when walked across, and a creature which moves into it or starts its turn standing in the area must make a Strength saving throw against your Devil Fruit save DC. On a failure, the creature is restrained and sinks 5 feet deeper into the hole at the start of each of its turn. A creature can repeat the Strength saving throw at the start of each of its turns to escape, after which it then must use at least 20 feet of movement to crawl out of the swampy hole. A creature which is fully submerged in the swampy hole begins to suffocate and is blinded and deafened for the duration, but it doesn’t trigger a Devil Fruit user’s Sea Weakness.

Spells (Swamp Control). This devil fruit power has 13 charges. You can use an action, bonus action, or reaction and expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it without needing to expend material components: earth tremor (1 charge, can cast at higher levels by spending additional charges), entangle (1 charge), maximillian’s earthen grasp (2 charges), wall of water (made of muddy swamp material; 3 charges), stone shape (4 charges), transmute rock (5 charges), move earth (6 charges), investiture of stone (6 charges). The devil fruit regains expended charges daily at dawn.

Awakening (Calamity Swamp). Once you’ve awakened your power, you can use an action to cause all ground within 120 feet of you to become affected by your Swamp Trap feature for 10 minutes. Additionally, your allies can move through the terrain normally without sinking or needing to spend extra movement. You can’t use this action again for another 24 hours.
